Course of Study

The Master's programme in Electrical Engineering/Information Technology consists of a total of three semesters. At the beginning of the course of study, the student chooses one of the two subject areas Communication Technology or Energy and Automation Technology. At the same time, scientific basics are supplemented and more in-depth study contents in the field of management are offered.

To further sharpen the knowledge profile, the student takes two out of five offered specialisation modules with scientific study contents and practical laboratory exercises from the areas of System Development, Advanced Embedded Systems, Image Processing, Signal Processing and Applied Research. In the last semester a master thesis has to be written. A subject-specific problem is to be worked on independently according to scientific methods.
