Electrical Power Engineering/ Physics (EP)
The Bachelor's degree program Elektrische Energietechnik (Electrical Power Engineering / physics) is being discontinued; new enrollment is no longer possible. The subject of electrical power engineering will be integrated as a focus in the newly created program of "Elektrotechnik / Informationstechnik", starting in the 2020/21 winter semester.
Due to the limited energy reserves in the world, it is becoming more and more important to utilize electricity from renewable energies such as wind and the sun (photovoltaics).
This Bachelor's degree program trains engineers who will work on solutions for the energy supply of the future.
