Electrical Engineering

Location

Campus Offenburg, room B 218

Profile and objectives

In the Electrical Engineering Laboratory, the functionality and behaviour of basic circuits are deepened in a practical manner. The following learning objectives are in the focus:

  • Simulation of circuits with PSpice
  • Setup and commissioning of circuits
  • Analysis of circuits
  • Execution of measurements and documentation of results

Scientific head of laboratory

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Erwin Firner

Laboratory assistant

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Bernhard Schwarz

Internships and Tutorials

The students carry out six laboratory experiments in group work (2-3 students):

  1. non-linear resistors
  2. simulation with PSpice
  3. behaviour of ideal capacitors
  4. frequency-dependent networks and components
  5. inductors and oscillating circuits
  6. bipolar transistors

Furthermore, the handling of measuring instruments is deepened and the complex numerical calculation is applied to concrete examples.
