Profile and objectives

The Laboratory of Business Communication Systems and IT Security supports the lectures of the study programms Applied Computer Science, Computer Science/Economics+, Business Informatics and Master of Computer Science. It offers students the opportunity to recreate problems in these areas and to use specific tools and solution methods that they have previously learned in the lectures.

The following tutorials and internships take place in the laboratory:

  • Tutorial of IT-Security (6. semester)

  • Internship Business Intelligence (7. semester)

  • Internship Advanced Business Intelligence (Data Mining) (Master)

  • Internship Business Process Engineering (Master)

The laboratory environment is also used for bachelor and master theses, as well as for project work and third-party funded projects.
